Eating organic: expectation vs reality

Expectations:

We all lead busy lives and we understand that at the end of the day you don’t always feel like standing above a hot stove.While there are plenty of beautiful healthy meals you can cook up with fresh ingredients, there is also plenty of goodness to have from pre-packaged foods. Healthy eating is perfectly possible without having to start every evening from scratch.

Reality:

Few feelings are greater than eating a warm, satisfying meal and knowing that you don’t feel guilty about anything.You should remain healthy and eat cookies, oils, delicious casseroles, and heart-rending stews.The key is to keep an eye on the ingredients that you are using. Both beans and squash are incredible in adding heft to things such as salads, soups and casseroles. Healthy fats such as avocado are both odorless and filling. And yes, right before you heard me: You can still eat cookies. By eliminating ingredients such as milk and oil, and incorporating fruits and veggies in your recipes, you can make your favorite sweet treats healthy and indulge in them.
